 NURSERY    Sundays (9:30 A.M. & 5:00 P.M.)

A loving nursery is provided for infants (newborn – 18 month) and toddlers (18 months – 2 years old) during both the morning and evening worship services.  The infant nursery is located in room 3 and the toddler nursery is in room 4.  Our two nurseries are well supervised and fully equipped.  We even have a paging system to call you if your baby needs you!

LITTLE LAMBS    Sundays (9:15-10:30 A.M.)

2 and 3 year old children meet during the entire morning worship service.  The children begin the morning with singing, and then move to their classrooms for a Bible story, snack, activity centers and craft.  Fun, age appropriate activities make this program a delightful way to introduce your child to the church while you worship upstairs!

TWO TO FIVE ALIVE    Sundays (9:15-10:30 A.M.)

This terrific summer program is offered for children 2-5 years old during the months of June, July and August.  Children meet during the entire morning worship service for singing, a Bible story, snack, activity centers and a craft.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP    Sundays (10:00-11:40 A.M.)

Children in preschool through first grade leave halfway through the morning worship service to participate in a worship experience designed especially for them.  This kid-friendly program encourages lots of movement, creativity and hands on experiences to make worship meaningful and enjoyable.  The children gather in the narthex at 10:00, and then move downstairs to their Worship Centers.  Parents may pick them up at 11:40 in their classrooms.

SUNDAY SCHOOL    Sundays (10:45-11:40 A.M.)

Children in 2nd-5th grade meet for singing immediately after the morning worship service.  At 11:00 they split up into their small groups for a Bible lesson, games and activities.

STORY HOUR    Tuesdays (9:30-11:00 A.M.)

While moms participate in a women’s Bible study group, children aged 2-6 may join our Story Hour program.  The boys and girls meet for singing, Bible stories, videos, crafts and a snack.  This wonderful program for preschoolers provides a fun morning out for both mom and the kids!  A nursery is also provided for children under age 2.

Alger kids love to “make a joyful noise unto the Lord.”  Boys and girls in 2nd-5th grade meet after the morning worship service to practice for participation in the worship service.

CADETS    Wednesdays (6:45-8:30 P.M.)

Third through sixth grade boys meet on Wednesday evenings to learn more about themselves, their God and their community.  The boys and their counselors participate in Bible studies, crafts, projects, games and social events.

GEMS    Wednesdays (6:45-8:30 P.M.)

Second through sixth grade girls gather to praise God through songs, Bible lessons, crafts, games and service projects.  This exciting program encourages girls to grow in their relationship to God, to others, and to their community.

CATECHISM    Sundays (11:00-11:40 A.M.)

6th graders meet after the morning worship service to learn more about the Heidelberg Catechism and basic biblical beliefs.

MIDPOINTE KIDS’ CLUB    Wednesdays (6:45-8:30 P.M.)

Boys and girls ages 4-7 belong to a special club that meets on 13 Wednesday evenings throughout the year.  The children gather to play games, sing, make crafts and learn what the Lord can do in their young lives.  A nursery is also provided for children under four.

GIFT (Growing in Faith Together)

GIFT is a 4-week mentoring program for children and their parents.  The goal of this workshop is to lead children to a deeper understanding of their faith journey with Jesus.  The workshop includes games, homework, art projects, one-on-one discussions with parents and group activities.  This program is offered in the Fall and the Spring.

Throughout the year many special activities are offered for children and their families (i.e. roller skating, service projects, art projects, musicals, Pumpkin Fest, Vacation Bible School…)
